Administrator - Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Gateshead NE11 0HF

Hours: Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm office based)

Salary: £27,500 per annum

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced administrator with at least 3 years of experience in a small to medium sized business to support the business and therapy teams at Active Neuro Gateshead.

Responsibilities
  • Support the smooth running of the service by maintaining office functions.
  • Provide effective administrative support while maintaining a high standard of confidentiality.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, clients and external contacts by phone, email and in person.
  • Handle routine and ad‑hoc tasks to ensure efficient operations.
  • Use multiple in‑house infrastructure systems and platforms.
  • Assist with scheduling, record keeping and data entry.
  • Support the team in a flexible and collaborative manner.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other IT systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload independently or as part of a team.
  • Positive, friendly and professional attitude.
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Willingness to work outside normal hours when required.
