MOT Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly skilled and experienced MOT Technician to join a respected automotive service centre in Consett.

• Up to £32,000 basic salary, with an OTE of up to £38,000
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm - no weekends
• Stable employment with a long-standing client the company has worked with for years

• Perform MOT tests in compliance with DVSA standards
• Diagnose and repair vehicles to high standards as an MOT Technician
• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify wear, tear, and faults
• Assist with general servicing and maintenance tasks using the latest diagnostic tools and technology
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out and communicate findings effectively to customers

• Valid MOT Licence
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Proven experience as an MOT Technician
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
• Capable of working to high standards and meeting deadlines
