PSRA Specialist – Business Support
Regulatory compliance is essential to bringing innovative products to market and maintaining the trust of customers, suppliers and regulatory authorities worldwide. As a PSRA Specialist – Business Support, you’ll play an important role in helping ensure our products and raw materials meet the complex and evolving regulatory requirements that govern the coatings industry.
Working as part of the Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) team, you’ll support multiple business areas by providing regulatory guidance, responding to customer enquiries and helping the business navigate regulatory challenges. You'll work closely with colleagues across R&D, commercial, supply chain and technical teams, translating regulatory requirements into practical business actions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide regulatory support and guidance to internal stakeholders across the business
- Respond to customer enquiries accurately and efficiently, ensuring a high standard of service
- Produce regulatory compliance statements and supporting documentation for customers
- Review products, raw materials and formulation changes to support regulatory compliance
- Support product registrations and annual regulatory reporting activities across relevant markets
- Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements and legislative developments affecting the coatings industry
- Help assess the impact of regulatory changes and communicate implications to the wider business
- Assist with the tracking and compliance management of raw material and product imports, including REACH-related activities
- Work closely with technical, commercial and supply chain teams to address compliance requirements and business needs
- Analyse and validate regulatory data from a variety of sources to support decision‑making
- Identify potential compliance risks and elevate issues where appropriate
- Support communication with regulatory authorities, customers and suppliers as required
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the PSRA team
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a scientific discipline
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex information and data
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage priorities and work effectively to deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive working relationships across teams
- Confidence interpreting information and making informed recommendations
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- A proactive mindset with a desire to understand customer and business needs
- Up to three years of relevant or transferable experience is desirable
- Experience with in a manufacturing, chemical or industrial environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of European chemical regulations, such as REACH and/or Food Contact regulations, or product stewardship principles would be beneficial
- Experience with SAP or similar business systems is desirable

- Develop specialist knowledge in product safety, regulatory affairs and chemical compliance
- Work closely with technical experts, commercial teams and regulatory specialists across the organisation
