Salary £27,500 / Earn £14.06 per hour plus 34 days leave (rising to 39) and health cash plan worth over £1,140.

Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw)

Blaydon, Winlaton – Tyne and Wear

• Lead support planning and coordinate Support Workers to deliver person‑centred support
• Balance support, safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads
• Support customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments
• Work with multi‑agency teams to safeguard and empower customers
• Help customers build independence and prepare for their move‑on into the community

• Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting
• Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or willing to work towards it)
• Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support
• The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach

You’ll work at Gateshead Learning Disability Service’s, Winlaton (Tyne and Wear). Working within a support service supporting customers with mild to moderate learning disability, the service is staffed Monday–Friday 9‑5 pm.
