Role OverviewCustomer Service Specialist – Student Loans campaign.
In this role, you will receive inbound calls to support students and their families with loan applications, payments, eligibility, funding and related queries. This role supports students’ academic future by helping them secure financing.

Tyne River House, The Watermark, Gateshead NE11 9SZ

Start Date:
Monday 27th July 2026.
Contract:
Permanent.
Hours:
40 per week, scheduled between 8am and 7pm Monday‑Friday; no weekend work. Full‑time only, no part‑time hours.
Salary: £12.71 per hour.
Training: 11 days 9am‑6pm, followed by 10 days nesting. Full attendance required; no holidays during first 4 weeks.
Typical Day- Work up to 9 hours per day, including 1 hour unpaid break and lunch.
- Start your day signing into systems and taking first call.
- Interact with a variety of customers – from quick information requests to challenging inquiries.
- Operate in a fast‑paced, high‑volume contact centre environment.

Documentation required:
Passport or birth certificate, National Insurance number, recent address proof (last 3 months). We also require a DBS check and credit check; cost is covered by the employer. Employment is dependent on successful checks and right‑to‑work status in the UK.
