Teaching Personnel is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our network and support students across schools in the Gateshead area.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in helping students reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering 1:1 and small-group support to pupils of varying abilities
• Applying your subject knowledge to boost learning and understanding in the classroom
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Collaborating closely with teachers to tailor support to individual student needs

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience before progressing into a PGCE, teacher training route, or a career in educational psychology or SEN support.

• A degree in a relevant subject area with strong academic knowledge
• Previous experience working with young people (advantageous but not essential)
• Confident communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners
