- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping them access learning
- Using your Sociology know‑how to understand behaviour and build trust
- Creating calm, structured routines that help pupils feel safe
- Working with teachers, SENCOs and therapists to adapt activities
- Celebrating every small win, because progress looks different for every child
- A Sociology degree or similar people‑focused subject
- Experience with children or young people, either voluntary or paid
- Someone patient, warm, and genuinely interested in SEND
- A good communicator who can stay calm when things get loud or lively
Education:
