Entry-Level Teaching Assistant

If you're at the start of your education career and looking for school experience, this Entry-Level Teaching Assistant role in Gateshead is a great starting point. You’ll get the chance to learn from experienced staff while supporting pupils in the classroom.

What your role looks like

You’ll assist with learning activities, help with routines and provide gentle support to pupils who need extra help. You don’t need school experience, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Your day-to-day

  • Helping manage behaviour expectations
  • Preparing classroom resources
  • Encouraging participation and confidence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
