Role: Classroom Supervisor (Secondary School)

Location: Gateshead

Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm (full-time or part-time options available)

We are recruiting for a Classroom Supervisor for a large 11-18 Secondary School in the Gateshead area, to work on an on-going basis until the end of the academic year.

• Deliver pre-set lessons and materials in the absence of the main class teacher
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for pupils
• Follow and implement the school's Safeguarding and Behaviour policies
• Liaise with the school's Cover Manager to provide feedback on classes
• No planning or marking required

• Recent and relevant experience working with children and young people - preferably in an educational setting
• Graduate-level qualification
• Passion for education
• Hard-working and reliable
