Position: Qualified Primary Teacher (KS2

We are working directly with a supportive and well-led Gateshead primary school that requires a Qualified KS2 Teacher (QTS) to step into a ready-made classroom.

This is a long-term opportunity with strong potential to become permanent. The school has clear systems in place and provides excellent support to teaching staff.

The Role:
  • Full teaching responsibility for a KS2 class
  • Planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Supporting pupils of mixed abilities
  • Maintaining a calm, structured, and positive learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with KS2 colleagues and teaching assistants

Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • KS2 teaching experience
  • Confident classroom management

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
