We are working in partnership with a well-established and well-led primary school in Gateshead that is seeking a Qualified KS2 Teacher (QTS) to take on a long-term role starting immediately.
The school has a strong leadership team, excellent behaviour standards, and a collaborative KS2 staff group. This role is ideal for a teacher looking for stability and professional support.
The Role- Full teaching responsibility for a KS2 class
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
- Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet a range of needs
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning
- Working closely with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues
- Clear curriculum planning and progression maps
- Teaching assistant support in class
- Consistent behaviour systems
- Supportive and visible senior leadership
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- KS2 teaching experience
- Strong curriculum knowledge
- Availability to start ASAP
