We are supporting a caring and inclusive Gateshead primary school that is seeking a Teaching Assistant to provide additional SEN support
. Full training will be provided, and no previous SEN or school experience is required
.

This role would suit someone local with experience supporting children in any setting who is looking to make a meaningful difference.

• Supporting pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
• Working one-to-one and in small groups
• Supporting engagement, communication, and routines
• Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher

• Clear support plans
• Guidance from experienced staff
• Supportive and understanding leadership
• Structured classroom routines

• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Availability to start ASAP

• Experience with SEN, care work, or childcare
