Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment

Thorp Academy is seeking a dedicated and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our English department.

In this pivotal role, you will support students across Key Stage 3 and 4, specifically focusing on interventions to help learners achieve their GCSEs. You will be the bridge between potential and achievement, helping students develop the literacy, language, and reasoning skills essential for success in English.

• Targeted Support:
  Deliver intervention programs to individuals and small groups, preparing materials that ensure maximum curriculum access.
• Inclusion:
  Provide practical and learning support to students with special needs under the direction of the class teacher.
• Mentorship:
  Act as a positive role model, establishing productive relationships and setting high expectations for learning and behaviour.
