Grade D, SCP 5-7 (£25,583 - £26,403 FTE per annum, pro rata)

Hours:

Permanent, 16 hours per week, Term time only + 5 days (39 weeks per year)

• Have experience of working with children in a primary classroom
• Be able to work in small groups and one to one sessions
• Be able to support the emotional and sensory needs of a child
• Be able to support engagement in cognition and learning of a child
• Have experience of working closely with Class Teacher/SENDCO and other professionals
• Be flexible and pro‑active
• Have vision, energy and enthusiasm for this position and has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Be experienced in establishing and maintaining good professional relationships
• Support the Catholic ethos of our school

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of working with SEND and non-SEND pupils
• Experience of teaching individuals and small groups
• Experience in planning learning for individuals and small groups
• Experience of working with children with general and specific learning difficulties
• The ability to use skills, expertise and experience to support pupil learning
• A caring and positive approach to children to ensure all pupils achieve their very best
