Nursery Practitioner Required – School Nursery in Gateshead
We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming school nursery in Gateshead.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional looking for a consistent, school-based role within a supportive team environment.
Job Type: Ongoing position
Location: School Nursery – Gateshead
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Term-Time)
- Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Support children’s emotional, social, and educational development
- Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain high standards of care
- CACHE Level 3 in Early Years (essential)
- Proven experience working in an early years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- A professional, nurturing, and proactive approach
- Consistent school hours (8:30am – 3:30pm)
- Supportive leadership and friendly team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
