Position: Primary LSA - Start Your Career in Education

32.5 hours per week | Term-Time Only

We are recruiting a caring, patient, and enthusiastic LSA to work 1:1 with a pupil in a supportive Gateshead primary school. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about inclusion and believes every child deserves the opportunity to succeed.

About the role:

You will become a key adult in the pupil’s school life – supporting them not only with learning but also with confidence, friendships, and emotional well‑being.

Your day-to-day could include:
  • Supporting learning through creative and adapted activities
  • Helping the pupil manage transitions and routines
  • Using positive reinforcement and behaviour strategies
  • Encouraging communication and social interaction
  • Celebrating progress – big and small

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
