IT Teacher – Newcastle Secondary School – Full Time Role

You will be responsible for delivering IT lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience would be beneficial but is not essential). The role is full-time and expected to run for the academic year, offering stability and the opportunity to build strong relationships with students.

We’re keen to hear from teachers who:

• Have experience teaching IT or Computing at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
• Are confident delivering topics such as digital literacy, data handling, and basic programming
• Can plan and deliver engaging lessons for mixed-ability groups
• Have strong classroom management and a consistent approach
• Are committed to supporting student progress
• Work well as part of a team and contribute positively to the department

This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to grow in a supportive school environment.
