A brilliant SEN school in Gateshead is looking for compassionate, creative teachers to join their team and support pupils with additional needs.

This isn’t a “sit still and copy from the board” kind of classroom. Every day looks different, and that’s exactly what makes it rewarding.

You’ll be helping pupils with severe and complex needs, including autism, learn in ways that work for them, whether that’s through sensory play, structure, movement, communication tools or simply building trust over time.

• QTS
• Patience, resilience and a good sense of humour
• A real interest in inclusive education
• Willingness to adapt and learn

Experience in SEN is great, but not essential if you’ve got the right mindset and genuinely care about making a difference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
