Graduate / Trainee SEN Support Assistant

A welcoming SEN provision is recruiting a Trainee SEN Support Assistant to work with children and young people who require additional support to achieve their potential.

The school provides specialist education for pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, learning difficulties and speech and communication challenges.

• Supporting pupils throughout lessons and activities
• Promoting independence and confidence
• Assisting with behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
• Helping pupils develop social and communication skills
• Working closely with teaching and support staff

• Individuals from care, mentoring, youth work or coaching backgrounds
• Positive role models who can build strong relationships
• Enthusiastic and adaptable team players
• Candidates interested in a long-term career within SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
