SEN Teaching Assistant – Gateshead

A welcoming specialist school in Gateshead is looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, SEMH needs and associated learning difficulties.

• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery
• Encouraging positive interactions and engagement
• Supporting behaviour and wellbeing strategies
• Helping pupils work towards individual targets

• Patient, adaptable and enthusiastic
• Passionate about supporting young people with SEND
• Confident working as part of a team
• Experienced in education, care or youth settings (preferred)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
