Trainee Behaviour & SEN Support Worker
A specialist school is seeking a motivated Trainee Behaviour & SEN Support Worker to support children and young people with additional learning and behavioural needs.
The role is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in residential care, youth services, sports coaching, mentoring or community support who are looking to transition into education.
You will support pupils with:- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- ADHD
- Communication and interaction difficulties
- Learning disabilities
- Supporting pupils during lessons and structured activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
- Providing consistent support throughout the school day
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary support team
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain specialist SEN experience while receiving ongoing professional development and training.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
