Autism & Behaviour Support Assistant – Gateshead SEN School

A specialist SEN school in Gateshead is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition, ADHD and communication needs.

You will play a vital role in helping pupils manage emotions, engage with learning and develop essential life skills.

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
• Assisting with behaviour support plans
• Promoting emotional regulation
• Encouraging social interaction and independence
• Supporting learning throughout the school day

Full training and ongoing professional development are provided.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
