Level 2 BSL Educational Support Assistant – Gateshead

As a BSL Educational Support Assistant, you'll support children with hearing impairments across Gateshead, helping them access education, build confidence and achieve their goals.

No two days are the same as you'll work across a variety of provisions, providing tailored support that meets each child's individual needs.

• Improving access to learning
• Supporting communication and understanding
• Boosting confidence and participation
• Helping pupils develop friendships and social skills
• Encouraging independence both inside and outside the classroom

• Level 2 BSL qualification
• Ability to travel independently between provisions
  
  Full driving licence and own vehicle
• Positive and proactive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
