Teaching Assistant - Primary Education

About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a full‑time, agency basis in schools across Ashington. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to supporting children's learning and development in a classroom environment.

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
• Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support pupil progress
• Assist in planning and preparing learning activities
• Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Support students with additional needs, where required
• Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to work
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
