About the Role & SchoolsWe are currently recruiting Trainee Teaching Assistants for permanent, temporary, and long-term supply positions across a network of high-performing and outstanding schools in Newcastle, Gateshead, Northumberland, Sunderland, Durham, and surrounding areas.

- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour management

- Building strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Locations:
Secondary & Middle Schools across the North East - Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm - Contract Types:
Permanent, temporary, and supply roles available - Full-time and part-time opportunities
- Have a genuine passion for working with children and young people
- Be patient, proactive, and reliable
- Work well as part of a team
- Have recent and relevant experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
- Be willing to undertake training as part of our National Teaching Assistant Programme
- Qualifications are desirable but not essential. Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
- Undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks
- Hold or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
- Register their DBS on the Update Service
- Excellent daily rates, paid weekly via PAYE
