Hours:
Permanent, 35 hours per week, Term time only + 5 days (39 weeks per year)

Responsibilities- Have experience of working with children in a primary school setting
- Support the development and education of all children under the direction of the Class Teacher and Senior Leadership Team
- Have a working knowledge or experience of national/foundation stage curriculum and other basic learning programmes/strategies
- Provide effective care, teaching and learning that enables children to progress and prepares them for making their transition into Year 1
- Provide sensitive support for pupils’ emotional, sensory and learning needs
- Work closely with the Class Teacher, SENDCO and other professionals
- Be flexible, reflective and responsive to pupils’ needs
- Bring energy, warmth and enthusiasm to the role
- Demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with pupils and adults
- Support and uphold the Catholic ethos and values of our school
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEND and those without additional needs
- Experience of teaching / supporting individuals and small groups
- Experience contributing towards planning learning for individuals and small groups
- The ability to use skills, expertise and experience to support pupil learning
- A caring, patient and positive approach that enables all children to achieve their very best
- A friendly, supportive and caring school environment
