We are working with a welcoming and well-established primary school in Gateshead that is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis.

The Role

You will take responsibility for a Key Stage 1 class and work closely with an experienced teaching assistant and the wider KS1 team.

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum
  • Creating a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
  • Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Building strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school community
Working Pattern

    - Full-time (term time only)
  • Hours - 8:30am - 3:30pm
