We are seeking a passionate and experienced Hairdressing professional to join our team on a part-time basis (0.5). This role involves delivering high-quality practical and theory-based teaching across Levels 1–3 Hairdressing programmes.

You will bring current industry experience into the classroom, helping learners develop the technical skills, knowledge, and professional behaviours required to succeed in the hairdressing industry.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory lessons for Levels 1–3 Hairdressing
  • Supporting learners to develop industry-standard skills in cutting, colouring, styling and client care
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support achievement and progression
  • Embedding employability, professional standards, and customer service skills into teaching
  • Maintaining a safe and professional salon learning environment
  • Contributing to the continued development of the curriculum in line with industry trends
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has relevant industry experience in hairdressing
  • Holds (or is willing to work towards) a recognised teaching qualification
  • Holds (or is willing to work towards) a recognised assessors qualification
  • Is passionate about developing the next generation of hair professionals
  • Has strong communication and organisational skills
  • Is committed to inclusive practice and supporting student success
