SEN Teacher – Specialist Provision | Gateshead | September Start

An exciting opportunity has become available for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a welcoming specialist provision in Gateshead.

This role is ideal for an experienced SEND Teacher or a mainstream teacher with a passion for inclusive education who is looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs. Pay is dependable on experience.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs.
  • Planning and adapting learning in line with EHCP outcomes.
  • Creating a positive, supportive classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence and progress.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families and other professionals to provide the best possible outcomes for pupils.
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
