Primary Learning Support Assistant

We're recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a friendly primary school where you'll help children overcome barriers to learning, grow in confidence and celebrate success every day.

If you have experience supporting children or young people, this could be the perfect opportunity to bring your skills into education.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll become an important part of the classroom team, supporting pupils academically, socially and emotionally.

You'll:

• Support classroom learning
• Deliver small group interventions
• Encourage positive behaviour
• Build confidence and independence
• Support pupils who need additional encouragement
• Help create engaging learning experiences
• Celebrate children's achievements every step of the way

Experience working with children is essential, but it doesn't need to have been in a school.

We're particularly interested in hearing from candidates with backgrounds in:

• Care work

• Childcare

• Coaching
• Play work
• Residential support
• Family services
• Community projects
