Experienced Teaching Assistant - Primary School

You don't need a Teaching Assistant qualification for this role –

Whether your experience comes from schools, nurseries, residential care, youth work, sports coaching, holiday clubs, childcare or community projects, your skills could make a real difference in the classroom.

Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you'll help children access learning, build confidence and develop key life skills.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils during whole‑class lessons
• Working with children individually and in small intervention groups
• Encouraging participation and engagement in learning
• Supporting literacy, numeracy and creative activities
• Helping pupils build confidence and independence
• Assisting with classroom organisation and learning resources
• Promoting positive behaviour and celebrating children's achievements
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
