Overview

Qualified SEND Teacher with QTS is sought to join a specialist SEND school in Gateshead. The school provides education for children and young people aged 5 to 20 with a range of additional needs and disabilities in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

• Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of subjects, with differentiation to meet the needs of pupils with SEND.
• Provide general classroom cover as required, adapting learning to support students with complex needs.
• Apply effective behaviour management strategies and create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• Extensive experience working in a UK SEND school.
• Proven experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, including complex needs.
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across a range of subjects.
• Patient, compassionate and adaptable approach to teaching.
