Teacher Active is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Gateshead that is looking to appoint a dedicated Maths Teacher. The school is looking to appoint a Maths Teacher on a part-time, long‑term basis from August 2026. The successful Maths Teacher will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, taking full responsibility for planning, preparation, marking and assessment while delivering engaging lessons that promote excellent progress and achievement.

• QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 within UK secondary schools
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Experience with planning, preparation and marking
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
