Cover Supervisor – Gateshead

Do you have experience working with children and young people? Interested in working in a school setting? We may have the perfect opportunity for you! The Education Network is working in partnership with a school based in the Gateshead area that are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join their team in September 2026.

You wouldn't be expected to plan, prepare or teach anything; you would cover lessons in the absence of a teacher, ensure the class stays on task with their work, manage the classroom, and help students with their work as and when you can.

• Experience of working with children and young people within the past two years, with a professional reference available.
• A valid fully enhanced DBS certificate on the updated service, or a willingness to apply for one.
• Passion for education and a commitment to helping North East children reach their full potential.

£100–£120 per day, depending on qualifications and experience.
