We are working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across Gateshead who are looking for reliable, enthusiastic Supply Teachers to join them from September. Our partner schools value teachers who can quickly build positive relationships, deliver engaging lessons, and create a calm, supportive learning environment.

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment where pupils feel motivated to learn.
• Adapt confidently to different school settings and year groups.
• Follow each school's behaviour and safeguarding policies.
• Mark work where required and provide clear handover notes for the class teacher.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
• Ensure high standards of teaching and learning throughout the school day.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching within UK primary schools.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A flexible, positive and professional approach.
• Availability to work at least three days per week

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
