Protocol Education is recruiting a passionate English Teacher to join a welcoming SEND secondary school in Gateshead this September. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs and prides itself on creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every learner is encouraged to reach their full potential.
The school follows strong religious values, so they are looking for a teacher who will embrace and uphold these values while becoming a positive role model within the school community.
Although this is a secondary teaching position, many pupils are working at Key Stage 2 level, so you'll need to confidently differentiate learning, particularly for Year 5 and Year 6 learners.
The Role- Full-time

- Monday-Friday

- Differentiate learning to meet individual pupil needs
- Build positive relationships with pupils and families
- Work collaboratively with therapists, teaching assistants and pastoral teams
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English at secondary level
- Confident adapting lessons for pupils working at KS2 level
- Passionate about inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
