Milk Education is working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Gateshead to recruit Supply Teaching Assistants for emergency day-to-day cover starting in September. This is an ideal opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants who thrive in different school environments and are looking for flexible work while maintaining a minimum commitment of three days per week.
You'll have the opportunity to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing valuable classroom support at short notice and helping schools maintain high-quality learning during staff absences.
Supply Teaching Assistant- Essential Criteria
- Recent experience working with primary-aged children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- A flexible, reliable and proactive approach to work.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments and routines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- A relevant degree or Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
- Availability to work a minimum of three days per week.
- Must live locally to Gateshead no relocation.
