Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic RE Teachers to work in secondary schools across Gateshead. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality RE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
• Encouraging students to develop curiosity, confidence, and independent thinking.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maximise learning outcomes.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to promote student success and wellbeing.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Religious Education within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to delivering engaging lessons that help students achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
