Job description

The Headteacher and Governors of Crookhill Primary School wish to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and creative Teaching Assistant to support pupils in KS1 and KS2. We are looking for a flexible and dedicated professional who will work alongside the class teacher to provide a high standard of support to pupils.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience of working with children, preferably ina classroom setting
  • Good basic skills in Mathematics and English – GCSE or equivalent
  • An understanding of the Early Years Framework and National Curriculum for KS1 and KS2
  • Experience of supporting pupils with special educational needs
  • Patience and empathy
  • Understanding of children’s individual learning abilities
  • Good communication skills
