Are you a passionate and adaptable Primary Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Do you enjoy teaching across different year groups and delivering engaging lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their best? Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Whickham to appoint a PPA Teacher to join their dedicated team from September.
PPA Teacher- Key Responsibilities Teaching & Learning
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of primary year groups
- Follow school planning to ensure continuity of learning
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Assess learning and provide feedback in line with school expectations
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain high expectations throughout the school
- Build positive relationships with pupils to support both academic and personal development
- Ensure all pupils feel safe, valued, and encouraged to achieve their full potential
- Work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants, and school leaders
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth handovers between classes
- Essential Criteria
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent and relevant UK primary teaching experience
- Confidence teaching across a range of primary year groups
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A flexible, enthusiastic, and child-centred approach to teaching and learning
- Must live locally to Whickham or the surrounding area—no relocation
