Protocol Education are recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a Gateshead school.
This role would allow you to develop practical experience while using knowledge from your degree to understand and support young people.
The RoleYou will support pupils who may experience barriers to learning, helping them:
- Engage positively with education
- Manage emotions
- Develop confidence
- Build positive relationships
- Improve communication
- Develop independence
- Understand boundaries and expectations
- Re-engage with learning
You will work alongside teachers and pastoral staff, providing 1:1 and small-group support where required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
