A specialist SEND school in Gateshead is looking for a motivated Graduate SEND Learning Mentor to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties

Location: Gateshead
Pay: £92.63-£105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
- Helping pupils manage behaviour and emotional regulation
- Supporting communication and social development
- Delivering engaging learning and intervention activities
- Assisting teachers within the classroom
- Building positive relationships with pupils
- Working closely with experienced SEND staff

Previous SEND experience is beneficial but not essential - a genuine interest in supporting children and young people is key.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
