The Head Teacher and Governors of Glynwood Primary School wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 3 + SSA Allowance.
- The position is to undertake normal classroom Teaching Assistant Level 3 duties in supporting the class teacher and also some one-to-one support of a child with an Education and Health Care plan.
- The successful candidate would ideally have current Paediatric first aid training, experience working with children with additional needs; particularly those with ASD, Social Communication Difficulties and associated sensory processing difficulties.
- Interested candidates should be enthusiastic, hardworking, resilient and have a good understanding of child development as well as additional needs. They will be flexible, well organised and have good IT, literacy, and numeracy skills, please refer to the essential criteria in the job profile.
- Candidates will work as part of a positive and professional staff team, prepared to make a full and active contribution to the life and ethos of our inclusive and successful school
