The Job You’ll Do:- Manage electrical engineering projects from concept, design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Lead project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and programme delivery.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
- Administer and manage contracts in accordance with contract frameworks.
- Monitor project costs, variations, forecasts, and commercial performance.
- Develop and maintain project programmes using Microsoft Project.
- Coordinate internal engineering teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and client stakeholders.
- Prepare and present project progress reports, financial updates, and performance metrics.
- Manage procurement activities and subcontractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with company quality, environmental, and health & safety procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and framework partners.
- Proven experience managing engineering or electrical projects from concept through to completion.
- Electrical qualifications are beneficial (NVQ, HNC, HND, Degree etc.)
- Strong working knowledge and practical experience of electrical/electronic contracts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commercial management experience within engineering projects
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrable experience managing project budgets, programmes, and commercial performance.
- Full UK driving licence
