Management Accountant

KCR Solutions have an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a well-established and growing business based in Gateshead. Working closely with the Financial Controller, this role offers fantastic exposure across the finance function and the opportunity to play a key part in supporting business performance.

THIS ROLE IS FULLY OFFICED BASED

Our client is seeking a driven individual who is actively studying towards an accountancy qualification to join a successful finance team. This role supports the Financial Controller in delivering high-quality financial information across the business.

You will provide wider support to the Financial Controller across key areas of the finance function and deputise in their absence. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter, a strong team player, and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively operate in a business partnering capacity.

• Support management accounts production and analysis
• KPI reporting, and other management information in a timely and efficient manner
• Reconciliation of balance sheet and control accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Journal preparation
• Accounts production to trial balance
• Complete quarterly composite submissions to external stakeholders
• Provide support to wider finance team members as required
• Support with cash flow and assist with forecasting activities
• Identify and implement improvements to finance processes, systems, and controls
• Maintain and adhere to financial controls and company policies
• Proactively support the Financial Controller across all areas of the finance function

• AAT / Part-qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
• Previous experience in a finance role with similar duties and responsibilities within the motor industry
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• IT proficient with strong Excel skills
• Positive, proactive approach with a willingness to go the extra mile
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
