PLEASE NOTE it is a requirement of this Trust that all successful applicants pay for their DBS certificate if a check is required for the post. This will be done through deduction from your monthly pay over a maximum of three months. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Junior Clinical Fellows to join the Medical Services Directorate at Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust.

These posts are aimed at Doctors who would like to gain more experience in Medicine before committing to a particular career pathway.

The posts will primarily be based within the Medical Directorate and there will be opportunities to work in a variety of Medical specialities including Cardiology, Stroke Medicine, Elderly Medicine, Acute Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Diabetes & Endocrinology and Gastroenterology.

Based in the North East of England we provide a range of hospital and community health services from our leading facilities, including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Blaydon urgent care centre and Bensham Hospital, all within Gateshead.

• Responsible for the admission, clerking and day to day care of their patients on the General Medical wards, as assigned.
