Functional Assessor (Registered Physiotherapist) – Gateshead.

Salary: £39,500–£41,000 per year, on‑target earnings up to £47,150. Full‑time, Permanent. Closing date: 31/07/2026. No sponsorship available.

• Conduct face‑to‑face and telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed, evidence‑based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Engage positively with feedback and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
• Attend assessment centre as required.

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist.
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident use of digital systems (typing speed ≥35 WPM).
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).

• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles.
• Confidence in producing high‑quality written clinical reports.

• No evenings, weekends or bank holidays.
