Search Consultancy is recruiting an experienced Site Cleaner for an active construction development in Gateshead. Offering flexible daily hours, this long-term contract is ideal for local candidates looking for dependable, consistent work to fit around their daily schedule.

We offer a choice between straightforward PAYE Direct ( 12.71/hr + accrued holiday pay) or an Umbrella option ( 16.71/hr), providing reliable weekly income with a leading agency.

Working independently on-site, you will be responsible for maintaining pristine hygiene and cleanliness standards across welfare facilities and site offices:

• Office & Welfare Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting site offices, meeting rooms, canteens, and drying rooms daily.

• Sanitation & Hygiene: Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting toilet facilities, washbasins, turnstiles, and high-touch surface points.

• Canteen Maintenance: Cleaning food prep areas, wiping down tables, microwave interiors, sinks, and seating areas.

• Waste Disposal: Emptying office and canteen bins, replacing liners, and transferring rubbish to designated site skip areas.

• Stock Management: Monitoring cleaning supplies, hand soaps, paper towels, and toilet rolls, notifying site management when restocking is needed.

To satisfy site entry and hygiene standards, all applicants must possess:

• Cleaning Experience: Proven background in commercial, office, industrial, or construction site welfare cleaning (strictly required).

• CSCS Card: A CSCS card is beneficial, but not strictly mandatory for welfare-only cleaning roles depending on site setup.

• PPE: Standard safety boots and high-vis vest/jacket.

• Reliability: Punctual, trustworthy, and capable of managing daily cleaning tasks without constant supervision.

• Location: Local to Gateshead or with reliable transport to commute daily (easy access via Metro and local bus routes).

• Right to Work: Valid proof of right to work in the UK.

• Flexible Pay Structure: Choice of 12.71/hr PAYE Direct (plus holiday pay accrual) or 16.71/hr Umbrella.
