E3 Recruitment is looking to recruit Production Operatives to join a well‑established leading manufacturing business at its facility in the Birtley area of Chester‑le‑Street. In this role you will be responsible for operating manufacturing machinery and the manual packing of products. Full training is provided for operating machinery specific to this role.

What's in it for you as a Production Operative?

Pay rate of £12.21ph with overtime paid a premium
Hours of work:
Monday – Friday, 6 AM ‑ 2 PM (early finish Friday at 1 PM)
39 hours a week
Overtime paid at a premium of 1.5x and 2x
Location:

Birtley
Full training and development, including FLT license
On‑going temp‑to‑perm opportunity with a well‑established PLC manufacturer

Duties of Production Operative

Manual handling and the use of mechanical lifting aids
Operating production machinery
Hand blending
Cleaning of moulds
Preparing product mixes
Manual packing and movement of heavy products
5S general housekeeping
Work following local Health & Safety Standards

Requirements of the Production Operative

Ideally worked within a production environment
Experience operating production machinery and lifting heavy materials
Forklift truck license desirable but not essential; training will be provided
