We are currently seeking an experienced Fabricator with MIG welding and metal dressing experience to join our team in Whickham. This is an initial 4-week temporary assignment, with the potential for extension depending on workload.
Position Details:
Start Date:
ASAP
Duration: 4 weeks (may be extended)
Location:
Whickham
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours:
Minimum 37.5 hours per week – flexible working hours available
Role Responsibilities:
Fabrication of steel components to drawings and specifications
MIG welding as part of the fabrication process
Metal dressing, grinding, and finishing to a high standard
Maintaining quality and safe working practices
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience as a Fabricator / MIG Welder
Competent in metal dressing and finishing work
Reliable, punctual, and able to start immediately
Reason for Vacancy:
Increased workload due to an upturn in business.
